Eligibility Requirements:
Middle school students must demonstrate and represent all 5 pillars that constitute National Honor Society: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character & Citizenship.
Process of becoming a member:
7th & 8th Grade students must meet the academics standards of a GPA 3.5.
They will then be invited to apply for NJHS. This rigorous application process will allow the students to showcase their qualities of the other 4 pillars through an application, a written portion and teacher recommendations.
The faculty committee will then meet and review all applications and determine eligibility for membership.
After student have been selected and approved, they will be invited to join the Jimtown Junior High NJHS Chapter. There will be a formal induction ceremony for all current & incoming members.
